Fixing curtain rails to upvc window frames

If you mean screwing into the window frames themselves you may need to drill a pilot hole first as some frames do have metal in them and without super sharp piercing upvc screws it may be difficult to get a screw in without the pilot. Currently there is a pelmet fitted about foot in from the window , so the curtains currently close in front of the bay. I keep hitting this metal lintel which then leads to a wide hole which messes everything up. I would like to put a cafe style half height net curtain on the window BUT ,one side is right in the corner,the other side is the upvc door. I have a window ,full length,with a door right next to it.

Is there any way of fixing this eg a curtain rail with suckers? Hopefully someone will give me any easy answer to this! I need to attach some curtains to uPVC windows.

The windows are upvc and there is no window lintel. The ceiling above the bay window is plaster. The roof is a lead covered flat roof.
