How to fit a gas hob into a worktop

Fitting a gas hob into a worktop is not dissimilar to fitting a kitchen sink (see the related project list at the base of this page). Fitting a hob is not a huge task as the procedures involved are few and simple. You are simply cutting a hole in the kitchen worktop into which the hob can slot.
